Bonavista STAR Project
The Bonavista STAR Project Final Report offers a Strategic Regional Tourism Plan for the Bonavista Peninsula (2019–2023), developed through broad consultation. It sets six key recommendations and thirty actions focused on extending the tourism season, enhancing regional marketing and online presence, supporting non-profit tourism groups, and addressing infrastructure and HR challenges. The plan calls for a unified tourism brand aligned with provincial strategy and stresses collaboration and sustainable funding. It highlights the region’s appeal to affluent, culture-seeking visitors and prioritizes investments in attractions like the Elliston Puffin Site and Discovery Aspiring Geopark. A Regional Tourism Action Team will guide implementation to position Bonavista as a leading rural tourism destination.

Town of Riverhead
The Cultural Centre Feasibility Study for the Town of Riverhead explored transforming the historic St. Joseph the Worker Church into a vibrant multi-use cultural centre. Strong community support was identified for features like performance space, café, gift shop, and gathering areas. The study detailed building upgrades, program plans, and aligned the project with tourism and regional development goals. A phased implementation plan included financial analysis and funding options for key renovations such as kitchen, roof, and accessibility improvements. Conach Consulting partnered with the Miawpukek First Nation to create EagleQuest, a visionary five-year tourism strategy positioning Conne River as a world-class Indigenous tourism destination. The plan revitalizes existing businesses and introduces new eco-adventure and cultural experiences rooted in Mi’kmaq heritage, managed by a dedicated tourism corporation. With initiatives like sea kayaking, spirit canoe tours, traditional healing ceremonies, and new resort accommodations, the strategy focuses on sustainable economic growth, cultural preservation, and employment.
